The people here are having a barbecue to celebrate Halloween. I’m not really involved but I know about it. I don’t have anything to barbecue anyway. I used to do Halloween. I know how to do Halloween. I am not interested in doing Halloween anymore. The place where I live here does not get any trick or treaters. I am going to relax and let it all go.
Celebrating holidays has been removed from me. I pretty much live everyday the same. One day is the same as another. I like that right now. I know that holidays are just spiritual setups. Thanksgiving and Christmas are all setups. I really don’t care about any of them anymore. I purged them all away from me. Oh well, that’s what happens in Universe Time. Everything spiritual just fades away.
I used to decorate for the fall. I made wreaths etc. I am not doing any of that either right now. My outside area is very plain and ordinary here. I removed the old table and now there are only 2 plastic white chairs there. That is all I want to have here. I consider this place my “healing all of the way” place. It is temporary. I let all the decorations for fall go. I relax and do my healing. This is something that I have never done before, just focus on my healing and nothing more.
So, no wreaths on the door here.
I use my creative talents to make shawls and blankets. That is what I have been doing for the last almost 6 years here. I have made a lot of them too. I am still doing creative things, just not related to holidays.
I don’t have those above shawls anymore. I had to donate everyone of them in March of 2016 to the 2nd Chance Thrift Store of the Crossroads Mission. I have spent the last 10 years recreating my Healer Wraps. I have them all stored safely in several totes and in some drawers. I live with my storage totes and that is a very good thing. I won’t be losing them anymore. They are all safe with me.
Someday, when I finally leave here, I hope to be able to have a nice place to display them again. I made a lot more of them than before. I want to see all of them presented in a very nice way, even better than in Novato. For now, this is how they are, all of the blankets and wraps, safe and sound.
