This headline in today’s Yuma Sun newspaper, Most Committeeman Races Removed From July Ballet, shows the lack of interest in running for certain offices here in Yuma County. The Yuma County Supervisors declared candidates of uncontested races of committeemen automatically elected and eliminated the elections for those positions. Interesting how this trend is going. Hmm… I see this as showing the gradual breaking apart of all Yuma County politics.
